3D Ornament Christmas Tags

Today I made these super easy but super cute Christmas tags featuring a 3D Christmas ornament. There are so many different variations you could make! Enjoy!

You will need:

* Tag shape (I used my Cricut and cut a tag from the Stretch Your Imagination cartridge)
* Patterned Paper (I used 12 Days of Christmas 6x6 paper pad by My Minds Eye)
* Card Stock (I used Stampin Up)
* Ribbon
* 5- 1 1/2" circles
* Stamp and Ink (or you could just write your sentiment with a pen)
* Scissors
* Glue (I used an ATG and some hot glue)

First Step: Cut your tag shape using your Cricut or die cutting machine (you could just print out a tag shape online and trace onto card stock and then cut out.

Second Step: Cut out 5 circles measuring 1 1/2" each using a circle cutter. If you want your ornaments to be larger just cut out larger circles. Fold circles in half and crease fold well. Then put glue on one side of the circle you folded in half, line up next folded circle until edges meet and press firmly. Repeat process until you have all of your folded circles glued together. (This process is similar to the Christmas ornament I made yesterday.)

Next: Cut a strip of patterned paper about 1" wide and glue across the bottom of your tag. Then, glue your 3D ornament right above your patterned paper. To do this, flatten out your circles where they are even layers on both sides of the fold and then put glue on entire circle, place flat on tag and press firmly. Fluff out ornament!

Lastly: Stamp a sentiment on a coordinating piece of paper and glue over the patterned paper strip at the bottom. Then, tie a ribbon at the top of the ornament for a finished look!
